BioLaMer project participated in La Borinto, an outreach initiative held at the Ravenna Campus of the University of Bologna in Italy held on 24th July 2025. The event is organized by the University of Bologna in collaboration with ER.GO (Regional Agency for the Right to Higher Education of the Emilia-Romagna Region) with the aim of welcoming and engaging high school seniors as they approach the transition to university life.
About La Borinto
La Borinto is designed to introduce prospective students to the university environment through program of seminars, lectures, meetings, and campus experiences. Participants have the opportunity to explore academic programs, interact with researchers and students, and gain insight into daily life across university facilities. The initiative plays an important role in supporting informed educational choices and encouraging young people to pursue higher education.
Showcasing the BioLaMer project
During this event, our project partner Prof Serena Righi showcased BioLaMer’s innovative and circular strategy for sustainable bioplastics, highlighting its potential to inspire future generations of scientists and researchers. The session underlined the role of science and interdisciplinary collaboration in building a sustainable future, while motivating students to explore careers in science, research, and innovation.
