The BioLaMer Project, funded by the EIC Pathfinder Open Programme (Grant Agreement No. 101099487), was showcased at the Rail Link Networking Event held on 30 September 2025 at the RDS Dublin. The event provided an excellent platform to present the project’s vision, communicate ongoing progress, and highlight its contribution to innovative and sustainable solutions.
Highlighting Project Objectives and Progress
The BioLaMer showcase focused on outlining the project’s core objectives, sharing key milestones achieved to date, and demonstrating how the project addresses real-world challenges through scientific research and innovation. Engagement with a multiple audience allowed for meaningful discussions around sustainability, circular bioeconomy, and the potential impact of BioLaMer’s technologies.

Project Samples Demonstration and Networking
In collaboration with project partners, including Eniya Mariappan from SocLineTech, and Sibu Padmanabhan and Sivakumar Krishnan from Trinity College Dublin, the BioLaMer project was presented to a wide range of visitors from both industry and the general public.

To further enhance understanding and engagement, project samples were displayed, including larvae, chitosan, polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), and superabsorbent materials. These samples provided a practical insight into the project’s approach and its focus on sustainable future.

Overall, the event proved to be a fantastic networking opportunity, bringing together industry experts and the wider public, expanding the project’s reach and fostering engagement with new circles of innovation.
