BioLaMer at EITech Demo Day for Food chain technologies, novel & sustainable food

EIC Tech to Market (T2M) Venture Building Programme organised two Tech Demo Days in the areas of “Medical technologies and medical devices” and “Food chain technologies, novel & sustainable food”. It mainly aims to support EIC Pathfinder & Transition beneficiaries in their journey to transform their scientific results into innovations which may result into a successful spin-off company.

EIC Programme Manager, Ivan Stefanic was responsible for overseeing innovations in the “Food chain technologies, novel & Sustainable food”.

BioLaMer was selected to pitch their innovation in the Tech Demo Day event for Food Chain technologies, Novel & Sustainable food on the 22nd of September 2023.

BioLaMer project coordinator Dr. Sibu Padmanabhan represented the project and presented their innovation on “Super-Absorbent Biopolymers (SAB)” which has enormous potential for applications such as food preservation (soak pad technology), sanitary products, horticulture and agriculture applications.
