Invited Talk at an International Conference

The coordinator of BioLaMer project, Dr Sibu Padmanabhan gave an invited talk at the “International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches to SDGs & International Partners’ Meet 2024”, which was organized by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) & Rajagiri Business School at Kakkanad Campus, Cochin, Kerala, India, and held on 10th -13th January 2024.

This conference was conducted with the vision of strengthening the global network that joins their hand to develop Sustainability Development Goals together. This event acts as a platform for academic researchers and industry experts from interdisciplinary fields to network and engage in innovative discussions. The event facilitated the participants from multiple sectors to present and talk about their progressive research works followed by fruitful discussions, exchanging ideas and invaluable insights in the sustainability fields.

Dr Sibu C Padmanabhan, Principal Investigator of our project, gave an invited talk on the topic “The BioLaMer route to address food waste and petrochemical plastics challenge”. His presentation was focused on the objectives, methodologies and impact of the BioLaMer project in addressing real-world challenges. This conference served as an excellent platform to share the project’s innovative concepts in developing sustainable biorefinery processes and materials, on such a global stage and also created an opportunity to expand our network.
